Delete your account or your data
Last updated: 20 October 2026 · SesiAI (the Sesi app and app.sesiai.in, also on Google Play)
The short version
- You can delete your Sesi account yourself, any time, in a few taps.
- Or email us and we delete it for you within 7 days.
- Your child's chats were never on our server: they stay on your phone, and you can wipe them there too.
Option 1: in the app (fastest)
- Open Sesi and tap the ⚙️ gear (grown-up settings). Type your parent PIN.
- Scroll to Grown-up account and tap Delete my account, then Delete my account for good.
- Type your Sesi password to confirm. The account is deleted at once.
To also clear this phone: in grown-up settings tap Delete everything on this device (chats, what Sesi remembers, the safety log).
Option 2: by email
Write to hello@sesiai.in from the email address of your Sesi account, with the subject Delete my account. We check it really is you, and delete the account within 7 days. You'll get a reply when it's done.
Delete some data, and keep your account
In Sesi, open the ⚙️ gear (grown-up settings, with your parent PIN). There you can:
- What Sesi remembers: read it, and tap to erase it.
- Safety log: clear it.
- Delete everything on this device: chats, what Sesi remembers and the safety log, in one tap. (These are kept only on your phone, never on our server.)
- Reminders and 📧 Email me this every Sunday: switch off, and we delete the reminder settings and stop the weekly email.
For anything else we keep about you (for example your feedback answers or your weekly email numbers), email hello@sesiai.in from your account's email with the subject Delete some of my data and say what to delete. We do it within 7 days and reply when it's done. Payment records are kept as tax law requires (see below).
What is deleted
- Your grown-up account: email, password (stored only as a scrambled hash), how you heard about Sesi, and your consent record on the account.
- Sign-ins on every phone or computer.
- Your plan details and daily Sesi time, the free-trial minutes used.
- Your feedback answers, reminder (notification) settings, and the numbers for the weekly email.
What is kept, and why
- Payment records (what was paid, when, the Razorpay payment ID), because tax law in India requires us to keep them. They are kept only as long as the law asks, then deleted. Card or UPI details are never with us; Razorpay handles them.
- A random device tag linked to the free week that phone already used, so the free trial can't be started again on the same device. It says nothing about you or your child.
- Short server logs (14 days) and the counts in our reports, which don't name anyone.
