English speaking practice for kids, at home, in 10 minutes a day
A guide from Team Sesi AI · 21 October 2026
Many children understand English well but freeze when they have to speak it. Confidence comes from one thing: speaking, often, without fear of mistakes. That's hard to find at home when everyone is busy. Sesi gives your child a patient English partner, any time.
How the practice works
- Your child taps 🗣️ Speak English and simply talks to Sesi out loud.
- Sesi reacts warmly to what they said, like a friend would.
- If there was a small mistake, Sesi says the better sentence once, naturally: "You can also say: 'Yesterday I went to the park.'" It never says "wrong" and never lists mistakes.
- Then it asks one easy, open question, so your child answers with a whole sentence.
- Every few turns, Sesi teaches one useful new word with an example.
Child: yesterday i goed to the park with my sister
Sesi: I love that! You can also say: "Yesterday I went to the park with my sister." What is the best game you have ever played?
A 10-minute daily routine
- Same time every day, for example after school.
- One short practice (about 8 turns). Sesi shows how many sentences and words your child spoke.
- At dinner, ask: "What new word did Sesi teach you today?"
Each Sunday you get an email with the week's practice: days, sentences and words. Small numbers growing week by week are the best sign.
For every age
Little ones (3 to 5) get very short, simple words and praise for every try. Older children get real conversations and one gentle tip at a time.

How does Sesi correct my child's English?
It says the better sentence once, naturally ("You can also say: ..."), fixes only one thing at a time, and never says "wrong". If the sentence was already good, it praises something specific.
How long should my child practise?
About 10 minutes a day works well. A short daily habit builds more confidence than a long session once a week.
Can my child type instead of speaking?
Yes, but speaking out loud is what builds speaking confidence. Sesi understands Indian English and mixed Hindi or Telugu words.
